Collectively operating in over 90 developing countries across the world—including all 24 nations with the lowest human development ranking—these organizations directly target the Millennium Development Goals and improve the lives of millions of people each year. These 8 Millennium Development Ride partner organizations were selected from an exhaustive review of nearly 200 international non-profit organizations working in health and development. The selection process involved a detailed review of organizations’ websites, annual reports, and available tax forms, as well as a review of professional charity evaluations by Charity Navigator and GuideStar. We chose our partner organizations based on their profound expertise working in developing settings, their use of best-practice methodology and commitment to process improvement, their leadership in collaboration, their strength in international advocacy and policy decisions, their worldwide scope, and their transparent and responsible fiscal management.

Simply put, the Millennium Development Ride partner organizations have learned the “tricks of the trade” and have solid relationships with the people and governments they serve.
