These 8 Millennium Development Ride partner organizations were selected from an exhaustive review of nearly 200 international non-profit organizations working in health and development. The selection process involved a detailed review of organizations’ websites, annual reports, and available tax forms, as well as a review of professional charity evaluations by Charity Navigator and GuideStar. We chose our partner organizations based on their profound expertise working in developing settings, their use of best-practice methodology and commitment to process improvement, their leadership in collaboration, their strength in international advocacy and policy decisions, their worldwide scope, and their transparent and responsible fiscal management.
